KFC, one of the most popular fast food restaurants in the world, wanted to promote a new menu item. They wanted to do so in a unique and interactive way that would engage the consumer. The use of Augmented Reality technology has many benefits in a marketing campaign such as this. First of all, the game we developed required the customer to not only look at but interact with a flyer (marketing material). This engages the customer, teaches them about the bucket meal and leaves a lasting impression on the customer all while he/she is having fun! Another great benefit of Augmented reality design is that customers can easily share this experience with others. It could happen offline by simply showing a friend or family member, or online through social media websites.
